Symmid Corporation Xilinx training experience began in 2003. Today SYMMID teaches Xilinx's classes throughout the MSIA and is Xilinx's exclusive Authorized Training Provider (ATP) serving ASIA PAC.

Symmid Consulting and Training (Symmid Corporation Sdn Bhd) is a Xilinx Authorised Training Provider. We provide courses across a range of mediums including non-geographically restrictive online training, and onsite or public courses across Australia & New Zealand. Online courses are always presented LIVE with one of our presenters using a sophisticated browser and VOIP based solution, more details of this medium can be found under the Online Training section on the left side. The Academy courses contain most of the FPGA based courses and are structured to give you a learning plan and we advise you start at the Academy I. All courses can be sat separately. Academies can be attended in modular form over many weeks during day and evening classes using our live online medium. Short courses may be modules contained within our full courses or totally standalone, where customers just want to learn a specific area without requiring to take days out, and of course at a cheaper price. Generally, shorter courses are only available Live through our online medium. Our schedule can solely depend on demand and can be added at very short notice, especially online courses for very small numbers, so Contact Us if you don’t see something scheduled which fits your needs or want to discuss any of our courses in more detail.

Symmid Corporation Sdn Bhd (Symmid) was established on 22 August 2003 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Kumpulan Modal Perdana which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ministry of Finance Inc. Symmid’s office is in Dataran Glomac, Kelana Jaya with staff strength of 31.  Symmid’s principal activities are IC/FPGA Design Services, Product Design Services and IC Design / FPGA Design Training and Consultancy.

 

 

 

IC DESIGN / FPGA DESIGN TRAINING

 

Symmid was appointed as Xilinx’s Authorized Training Provider for Asia Pacific since November 2004. Xilinx Inc. is the world market leader in programmable logic devices.  

 

Symmid was awarded with the Xilinx Asia Pacific Authorized Training Provider of the Year 2010 (FY ending 31 March 2010). In addition, two of Symmid’s Instructors were awarded with Outstanding Trainer Award from Xilinx for their excellence in delivering the training.   

 

Participants to Symmid’s Xilinx training courses came from several multi-national corporations, local design houses, government agencies and Institutes of Higher Learning.

EXPERIENCED  

Symmid has more than 6 (six) years experience in delivering Xilinx based training programmes and customised IC design training. 

 

Among the courses we have conducted are:

• a six-month IC Design Internship Program in collaboration with Multimedia Development Corporation (now MDeC) for 16 interns from October 2004 to April 2005. 
• Symmid has conducted 11 classes MSC Malaysia Job Camp Programs for MSC Malaysia since 2008. This is the same programme that is being offered to all Universities (local and Private). It is worth noted that we have successfully run similar programme exclusively for Universiti Malaysia Pahang from November 2009 to January 2010 .
• SIRIM-UPE training programme 
• Panel for 3-P Programme 
• Symmid had also conducted customised technical courses for government-linked companies and agencies such as MIMOS & Telekom R&D and various other Institutes of Higher Learning such as UNIMAP, UITM, USM, UKM, UM & UPM
